courtinterpreters.net is a members-only, urgent-communication service offered to all certified and non-certified interpreters and the agencies that hire them. Its purpose is to increase communication efficiency in our profession by allowing interpreters to announce their last-minute availability directly to interpreting agencies on a minute-by-minute basis thereby saving both parties from making or answering unproductive phone calls and pages. Agencies and interpreters alike are able to use their time and resources more efficiently resulting in higher productivity and less stress.

"I’m available" are the words many interpreters would like to announce and that many agencies would like to hear. Now, just one phone call from interpreters to courtinterpreters.net can announce they are available to all interpreting agencies as well as communicate when and where they are by merely adding our a 2-digit code before their call-back number. This is a service for busy interpreters who want to announce when they are available and don’t want to be unnecessarily distracted when they’re not. Why waste a ‘911’ call to interpreters who have not announced they are available today or tomorrow when one glance at our website will tell you who is?

Designed by a working certified interpreter, courtinterpreters.net was created to address the urgent needs of both interpreters and interpreting agencies due to no-shows, last-minute scheduling changes or attorneys who settle.

If you know an interpreter who isn’t online yet, have them call us at 714-847-8695 for information on how to register for three months of free service. We will mail or fax a registration form to those who are not yet online. Interpreters do not need a computer to use our service, just a telephone (usually a cellphone) where they can be reached quickly.
