stenos.org is a members-only urgent communication service offered to all certified court reporters and the agencies that hire them. We offer a means to decrease telephone and scheduling time in the profession by allowing reporters to announce their availability thereby saving both parties from making and answering unproductive pages and calls. Agencies and reporters alike are able to use their time and resources more efficiently resulting in higher productivity and less stress.

"I’m available" are the words many court reporters would like to announce and many agencies would like to hear. Now, just one phone call from court reporters to stenos.org can announce their availability to the reporting agencies as well as communicate when and where they are available by merely adding our 2-digit code before their call-back number (usually a cellphone). This is a service for busy reporters who want to announce when they are available and don’t want to be unnecessarily distracted when they are not. It shouldn’t be necessary to make urgent calls to reporters who haven’t already announced that they are available today or tomorrow.

Designed by working certified reporters, stenos.org was created to address the similar urgent scheduling needs of reporters and interpreters and the agencies that hire them due to no-shows, scheduling changes and attorneys who settle.
